Summer vacation in the mountains: active in the Tiroler Zugspitz Arena
Exciting family offers, hikes to crystal clear mountain lakes with Caribbean-blue water and over 100 mountain bike tours make the Tyrolean Zugspitz Arena a varied active region. New this year: three trail running routes of various lengths and levels of difficulty.

The Tiroler Zugspitz Arena opens its doors right across the border between Bavaria and Tyrol. Instead of walking on two wheels - mountain bikers can explore the "best bike region in Austria" on over 100 marked tours with a total length of 4,330 kilometers. On hiking trails to hidden mountain lakes with crystal clear water, guests experience nature in all its originality. If you want to improve your handicap, you can tee off on the 9-hole course at the Tiroler Zugspitz Golf. It offers golfers a wonderful view of the fascinating Wetterstein massif. So that the summer vacation becomes a very special experience for the little ones too, there is an exciting vacation program for the whole family in the Tyrolean Zugspitz Arena.

Berwang Ski Arena
The Berwang Ski Arena is exactly the right choice if you are looking for a family-friendly, enjoyable ski area away from the hustle and bustle.
A total of 36 kilometers of slopes are acessed with twelve modern cable cars and lifts (a 10-seater family gondola, a 6/8-seater combination lift, three chair lifts and seven drag lifts).
24 kilometers of slopes are easy (marked in blue) and are therefore particularly suitable for families with children, newcomers to skiers and pleasure skiers.
Plenty of snow is not only provided by the altitude of over 1.300 meters, but also by the snowmaking systems that cover around 80 percent of all slopes.
The door of rustic alpine pastures and family-friendly mountains inns are open for a hearty break.
Even if the winter sport area Berwang-Bichlbach is not one of the largest ski areas, it still has great surprises in store!
The night ski slope in Berwang is a great experience in the Tiroler Zugspitz Arena and the night toboggan run is a real highlight for young and old.
Of course, snowboarders, cross-country skiers, winter hikers and ice sports enthusiasts also feel right at home in the small but extremely fine ski area in the Tiroler Zugspitz Arena, because there is a great offer for everyone in the midst of the beautiful natural backdrop of the Berwanger Valley.

A fully automatic child-safe 6-seater chairlift with individual seats and weather protection hoods.
Entry is made easier by a liftable conveyor belt, even for very small children.
